As Interim Senior Vice President, Subbaswamy will oversee the academic program approval and faculty tenure and promotion processes, assist with setting and implementing academic priorities, and convene campus academic officers to identify priorities and strategies. He will also assist in setting a long-term strategic vision for the system office academic and student affairs and equity area.

The blood pressure clinics started March 9 and go through the end of April, held at the Physical Plant in room 201. The clinics are free, no insurance is required, no appointments are needed, and results are confidential and not shared with anyone.

The Massenberg Summer Institute, geared toward low-income, underrepresented students of color that might not otherwise have exposure to opportunities in STEM fields, welcomes students for the fourth year. Students can be nominated by their high school guidance counselor or teacher and is free of charge for those accepted.

UMass Amherst has been found to have one of the lowest NOx levels in a recent investigation done by (ital)Reuters(ital).
