Andrew MacDougall ’95 is a vice president of distribution planning for Bank of America. His primary role is to help design the optimum network of banking centers and ATMs for the major metro areas of New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, Atlanta, and Charlotte. This involves identifying the best opportunities for expansion as well as making recommendations for branch consolidation and relocations.
Andrew is part of a Legacy family—his mother and two brothers graduated from UMass Amherst and his father served as a department head, Dean, and professor with over a 25-year career at UMass Amherst. He is the president of the UMass Amherst Charlotte Alumni Club and also volunteers with events and fundraisers benefiting local charities in his community. He is the recipient of the American Society of Landscape Architects Merit Award in 1995 and the Time Person of the Year in 2006.
Andrew graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture and currently resides in Hunterville, NC. He is an appointed member of the Board of Directors and serves on the Alumni Clubs Committee and the Nominating Committee. He has been a member of the Alumni Association since 1996 and a Life Member since 2005.
