Jacqueline Govoni ’05 is a Program Administrator with the Economics Department of Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts where she is also pursuing a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration.
Jackie graduated from UMass Amherst in 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor is Women's Studies. As a student she was a tutor in the Economics Departments and worked at the Mullins Center. She served as president of the Student Alumni Association and was a founding member of the Chancellor’s Personal Host program, acting as a student ambassador to the university for Chancellor John V. Lombardi.
Jackie was a recipient of the Alumni Merit Based Scholarship, which recognizes a Student Alumni Association member who demonstrates outstanding leadership in the Student Alumni Association and within the larger university community. During her senior year she was awarded the Senior Leadership Award in recognition of her outstanding leadership and service to the UMass Amherst community.
Jackie resides in Boston, Massachusetts and is an appointed member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors. She serves on the Honors and Awards Committee and the Programs and Services Committee, and has been a member of the Alumni Association since 2005.
