Michelle-Kim Lee ’03 is an attorney with Schwartz Hannum PC in Andover, MA where her practice involves labor and employment litigation and counseling, including contracts, covenants not to compete, employee handbooks and confidentiality agreements. Prior to joining the firm, Michelle was an associate at Wayne, Richard & Hurwitz, LLP, where she concentrated in civil litigation, employment law, and zoning issues. Michelle has also represented commercial clients in litigation. She is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
As a student, Michelle was active with the Phi Beta Kappa Society and served as an executive officer for the Order of Omega National Honor Society. She was also president of Alpha Lambda Delta and the Golden Key International Society and remains a member of the Sigma Kappa National Sorority. Michelle is a summa sum laude UMass Amherst graduate, having earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2003. She graduated cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 2006.
Michelle is a member of the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association, and was named a New England Super Lawyers Massachusetts Rising Star in 2009, 2010 and again in 2011. Michelle has also volunteered with the Greater Boston Alumni Club, chairing the Community Outreach Subcommittee.
Michelle is an appointed member of the Board of Directors and serves on the Nominating Committee and Diversity & Inclusion Task Force. She is a Sustaining Member of the Alumni Association.
