Alumni Association Board of Directors
Rahul Prakash ’08 is a technical solutions manager with IBM Inc. In this role, he is the lead for the development of IBM outsourcing solutions directly to customers. Rahul interned with IBM as a technical engineer, while still a student at UMass Amherst, and helps to recruit UMass Amherst students for internships and full-time jobs at IBM.
Rahul serves on the Board of the Sant Lal Shanti Devi Charitable Trust, which was started in 1960 by his grandfather. The trust provides two full scholarships to the Hindu College of Science in Sonepat, India and is funding the creation of a middle school in the city of New Delhi.
Rahul earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science and economics in 2008. He is an appointed member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and a Sustaining Member.
