Alumni Association Board of Directors
Robert P. Shaughnessey ’75 is the president of Shaughnessey Associates, a marketing firm founded in 1997. Previously, Bob worked as a stockbroker for Merrill Lynch and E.F. Hutton and also managed marketing and sales for several companies in the publishing and plastics industries. Bob has served on the Dean’s Council for the Isenberg School of Management, the Board of Advisors for Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, and as vice president of the UMass Amherst chapter of the “Beta Chi” Veteran’s Association. He founded the Boston First Fund and served on the Board of Directors for the USO of New England and the Navy League of the United States, Massachusetts Bay Council.
Bob graduated from UMass Amherst in 1975 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. He resides in Clinton, Massachusetts. Bob is an elected member of the Alumni Association Board, serves on the Finance and Investments Committee, and has been a Sustaining Member of the Alumni Association since 2004.
