Finance Society	New York Networking Trip The club travelded to NYC to network with alumni in the finance industry and learn about career opportunities pursued by former UMass students. This included meetings at a number of firms such as JP Morgan, Bear Stearns, and Forex Capital markets.

Department of Music and Dance	Music Alumni Reunion and Alumni Board Meeting A reunion for all music alumni was held during the Homecoming Weekend 2007. An alumni Board was put into place to help areas such as fundraising, recruiting, creating internships and mentoring.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers	Engineering Students Reaching Out This program exposes high school students from rural and urban areas in Massachusetts to the diverse fields of engineering.

National Society of Black Engineers	Preparing for the next step: Inform and network The program deals with college survival, inspiring student leadership, coaching business etiquette and providing an opportunities for current students and alumni to network and interact.

UMass Theater Department	LMDA mini-conference for early-career dramaturgs This one-day conference is intended as an opportunity for early-career dramaturges from various training programs in the North-East region to meet, present their research and discuss their experiences in production dramaturgy.

Sport Management Department	Sport Management Alumni Weekend 2007 The Sport Management Department organized an alumni weekend that entails a series of eductional workshops, a room dedication ceremony, sport management awards banquet and tailgating at a UMass home football game.

WMUA-FM	Magic Triangle Jazz series The series educates students in all facets of concert production while fostering student-musician dialogue through workshops, classes and open forums.

Fine Arts Center	Solos & Duos Series The series presents world-class jazz artists in solo or duo context, bringing a unique musical experience to students at a reasonable price.

Herter Art Gallery	Inside/Out: painting, Prints & Photographs by Hanlyn Davies This exhibition is a commemorative retrospective celebrating the accomplishments of Prof. Hanlyn Davies who taught at UMass Amherst for thirty five years.

UMass Fine Arts Center	Unbroken Chain: The Grateful Dead in Music, Culture and Memory This project is the first academic conference to assemble journalists, artists, musicians, and scholars from across the academic spectrum. In includes fall semester coursework, 2-days of concentrated workshops, discussions, and a key-note address by Dr. McNally.

Department of Music & Dance	Tears of Joy, University Dancers The Dance Department will honor its own history, as well as the history of modern dance, by presenting Tears of Joy, a work by a former faculty member, Richard Jones, and There is Time by noted modern dance choreographer Jose Limon.
