Embracing Community Service

Alumni Clubs around the country are organizing volunteer projects in recognition of National Community Service Month in April. Join your fellow alumni to volunteer a small amount of time that will make a big difference.
Volunteer projects include:
Atlanta, GA - spend a Saturday morning tutoring elementary children in reading and math skills. Volunteers who speak Spanish are especially needed, but not required
Los Angeles, CA - help serve lunch to the homeless in downtown LA
Philadelphia, PA - clean a section of the Wissahickon Creek, then join fellow volunteers for the “Talkin’ Trash” Picnic at Fort Washington State Park
Denver, CO - volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House
Chicago, IL - support Poised for Success, an organization that provides business attire to women getting back into the workforce
Metro New York - help clean the New York City Park
Metro New York - take part in Miles for Mom's Walk for Cancer
St. Louis - volunteer with the Ronald McDonald House
Worcester, MA - help rehabilitate the houses of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly, disabled, and families with children
Pioneer Valley, MA - participate in a food drive to benefit the Amherst Survival Center
Charlotte, NC - help cleanup of the Carolina Raptor Center
Washington, DC - participating in DC Cares Servathon to help clean up DC area schools.
