The George "Trigger" Burke UMass Athletics Hall of Fame showcases UMass Amherst's rich athletic history and proudly honors former student-athletes, coaches, and administrators who have made a significant impact on the program through their commitment to excellence.
The 2024 Hall of Fame class includes:
- Jeff Deren, Men's Soccer 1999-2002
- Dennis Fenton, Football & Wrestling 1974-1976
- Kwesi Frimpong-Boateng, Men's Track & Field 2001-2004
- Nicole (Way) Toye, Women's Track & Field/XC 1997-1999
In addition to the four inductees, UMass Athletics will honor Bill DeFlavio '72 & Tom Mullen '73 as the Martin Jacobson Distinguished Alumni Award recipients, Rita & Laurie Leaman as the John Francis Kennedy Maroon Leadership Award recipients, and Gayle Hutchinson '79 as the Elaine Sortino Alumna Award for Achievement recipient.
