Start the afternoon with a presentation entitled, The Future of the Field, given by Robert Z. Melnick, professor of landscape architecture at the University of Oregon and Daphne Spain '77 PhD, professor & chair for the Department of Urban and Environmental Planning at the University of Virginia.
Also, enjoy a panel discussion facilitated by John Mullin FAICP, '67 emeritus professor of regional planning at UMass Amherst. Panelists including Matthew Cunningham RLA, '00 BSLA, principal, Matthew Cunningham Landscape Design LLC, Carlton Hart AICP '08 MRP, urban planner, Urban Design & Plan Review Division, National Capital Planning Commission, Allison Noreau Lamey '02 BS, '03 MRP, director, Economic Development, City of Lowell, and Cheri Ruane RLA '95 BSLA, practice leader, Spurr Design Studio; president, Boston Society of Landscape Architects.
Music, mingling, hors d'oeuvres, and building tours will follow.
