Join us in a community service run focused on collecting new or lightly-worn clothing for those in need. Participants donate articles of clothing and then proceed to run/walk a mile NEARLY naked in appropriate attire for the event (undergarments, bathing suit, boxer shorts, t-shirts, shorts, tank tops, and camisoles).
The run demonstrates the challenges faced by over 21,000 homeless people across Massachusetts without appropriate clothing as cooler temperatures approach. All clothing donations will support the Amherst Survival Center. Participating is also a great way to give back to your university since a portion of each ticket sale supports student scholarships and programs.
Come for the run and stay for the fun! Pre-run activities start at 4:00 p.m. and include music and spirit stations where students can use body paint to show their pride! Festivities also include awards for most spirit and creativity.
