Thin Aung ’07 (CNS) - Registered Nurse, UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus
As a critical care nurse in a medical intensive care unit, Aung manages illnesses ranging from sepsis to major organ failure. Aung majored in biochemistry and molecular biology while at UMass Amherst and went on to receive a bachelor’s in nursing from MCPHS University.  Prior to completing her nursing degree, Aung worked as a laboratory technician in formulations/pharmacy for a pre-clinical pharmaceutical company.  She is currently taking classes in preparation to apply for doctoral programs in nursing.  Aung is a member of the Alumni Association’s GOLD Council.

Raquel Alves Boudreau ’12 (HFA)Associate Coordinator, Global Media Distribution, National Basketball Association
As the associate coordinator of Global Media Distribution for the National Basketball Association (NBA), Boudreau coordinates strategy and business development for the NBA’s domestic digital media business, including involvement in the league’s virtual reality content.  During publicized league events, such as the All-Star Game, she is involved in event planning and managing VIP hospitality and ticketing.  Boudreau majored in English and French and earned a certificate in Civic Engagement and Public Service (in conjunction with the Citizen Scholars Program) while at UMass Amherst.

David Boutilier ’01 (CNS)Vice President & Executive Producer, Anzovin Studio, Inc.
Anzovin Studio produces 3D/2D animation and provides digital product development services to clients around the world.  As co-owner and project lead, Boutilier is in charge of client interactions, scheduling and general business management.  He majored in computer science while at UMass Amherst.

Michael Clark ’13 (SBS)Chief of Staff, State Senator Eric P. Lesser, First Hampden and Hampshire District
As chief of staff to Senator Eric Lesser, Clark oversees the implementation of legislative and policy priorities, drives the messaging and outreach efforts within their respective district to constituents, and helps develop political strategy relating to the senator's goals and objectives.  Clark majored in political science while at UMass Amherst.

Cameron Jesse Cox ’12 (SBS)Graduate Student, UMass Amherst
Cox is currently pursuing a master’s in education with a concentration in school counseling from UMass Amherst.  Prior to pursuing graduate school, he worked as a financial aid advisor for uAspire.  In this position, he provided one-on-one advising as well as group presentations, and created resources to help student and families with their college decision.  Cox majored in sociology while attending UMass Amherst as an undergraduate student.

Jessica Lau ’10 (ENG)System Planning Engineer, ISO New England
As a System Planning Engineer for ISO New England, Lau studies a range of future scenarios for New England’s power grid.  She explores many factors including new technology developments and market drivers.  Lau majored in electrical engineering and math while at UMass Amherst and went on to receive a master’s degree in power systems management from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.  She is a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors and the Association’s Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) Council.

Kate Lockhart '13 (SBS)Development Director, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County
As the development director for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County, Lockhart coordinates all fundraising initiatives in support of the organizational budget and organizes major fundraising events throughout the fiscal year.  In this position, she also serves as a liaison with the local community through social media, networking events, event planning, and donor communications, and supports program and recruitment efforts indirectly.  She majored in sociology while at UMass Amherst.

Clifford A. Merin, Esq. ’06 (SBS)Law Clerk to the Connecticut Superior Court
As a law clerk to the Connecticut Superior Court, Merin researches and writes legal memoranda for the judges of the state’s trial level court.  He majored in journalism while at UMass Amherst and went on to receive a J.D. in 2010 from New York Law School.

Ryan Neveu ’12 (ISOM)Project Manager, Notch Mechanical Constructors
As a project manager, Neveu’s job is to estimate, plan, budget and oversee multiple construction projects of varying scopes.  He is responsible for many different customers and much of his time is spent building and maintaining those relationships.  Neveu plans to attend graduate school in the near future to pursue an MBA.  He majored in operations management while at UMass Amherst.

Sean Quinn ’04, '13 MBA (ISOM)Assistant Athletic Director for Business and Ticket Operations, UMass Athletics
Quinn oversees all aspects of ticketing for UMass Athletics including event set-up, financial reconciliation, and adherence to NCAA and university policies.  He also serves as a primary customer service contact for UMass Athletics to donors, VIPs, season ticket holders, students and various on-campus groups.  He majored in sport management while attending UMass Amherst as an undergraduate student.  Quinn also received a MBA in 2013 from UMass Amherst.

Monique Tremblay '10 (ISOM)Advisor, Provider Relations and Marketing/Communications, CVS Health
In her role at CVS Health, Tremblay implements and collaborates with health systems to develop a comprehensive marketing and communications plan that showcases the partnership between the companies.  She is also responsible for communications including organization announcements, digital marketing and designing sales and educational materials.  Tremblay majored in marketing while at UMass Amherst and went on to receive an MBA in management and marketing in 2014 from Assumption College.  She is a member of the Alumni Association’s Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) Council.

James A. Verdone ’09 (HFA)Music Director, Northbridge High School
Verdone directs all musical ensembles at Northbridge High School (located in Whitinsville, MA), as well as coordinates the freshman transitional program, “Link Crew.”  He majored in music and earned his teaching certificate while at UMass Amherst.  Verdone then went on to receive his master’s degree in instrumental conducting in 2014 from the American Band College of Sam Houston State University.
