The George "Trigger" Burke UMass Athletics Hall of Fame showcases UMass Amherst's rich athletic history and proudly honors former student-athletes, coaches, and administrators who have made a significant impact on the program through their commitment to excellence.
The 2022 Hall of Fame class includes:
- Liam Coen, Football 2004-08
- Pam Moryl, Field Hockey 1981-84, Women's Lacrosse 1982-85
- Russ Yarworth, Men's Swimming Head Coach 1979-2020
- 1982 Women's Lacrosse National Championship Team
In addition to the four inductees, UMass Athletics will honor Ed Ward '75 77M as the Martin Jacobson Distinguished Alumni Award recipient, Dr. Pierre Rouzier as the John Francis Kennedy Maroon Leadership Award recipient, and Rachael Rollins '94 as the Elaine Sortino Alumna Award for Achievement recipient.
